Worship Emphasis

As many of you know, I was diagnosed with cancer in March 2021. I was divinely healed while praying to God sitting in my recliner in the early morning hours of Friday, March 26, 2021. I did not deserve to be healed but Jesus had compassion on me just as He did the great multitude in Matthew 14:14. This was undeniable proof to me that there is no respect of persons with God (Romans 2:11) and that Jesus is willing to heal whosoever of whatsoever disease he has (John 5). All through the Gospels we read how everyone who came to or was brought to Jesus in need of healing (Luke 9:11) was healed for He healed them ALL. This brings me to the scripture that I want to share which is Matthew 8:16-17 “When the even was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all that were sick:

17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” Jesus healing them all fulfilled the prophecy given in Isaiah 53:4-5 but scripture is also clear that Jesus healed because He had compassion on them. Hebrews 13:8 assures us that Jesus is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. His willingness and compassion concerning the sick and afflicted has not changed nor will it in the future. Thank you Jesus! If you desire to learn more about divine healing please join us Saturdays mornings at 7 AM in the Fellowship Hall.
